Money is NOT the root of all evil. Those who say this are misquoting the original statement, which comes from the Bible. The actual phrase is “The LOVE of money is the root of all evil.” (It’s found in the letter of Timothy, chapter 6 verse 10; if you want to check). Money doesn’t corrupt; money isn’t evil; being rich doesn’t make you some kind of heathen. Those who don’t have money often look at those who do as tyrants against “the little man.” Untrue. Having money is often a great thing, as long as greed doesn’t enter into it. Having money allows good people to do better things; and allows greedier people to do greedier things. (Be a good person, not a greedy one). So don’t turn your noses up at the wealthy. Find out how they got where they are and start working towards it. Money in the right hands can do great things. Greed, and not money, is the real evil.
